Our Partner

SMC³ has partnered with Logistics Training Center to produce to produce five LTL courses, as well as an optional certification exam (CLTL). These seasoned logistics and supply chain management professionals, as well as leading university-level instructors, deliver up to 40-hours of content.

A flexible learning experience designed for the transportation professional on the go

  • Students are counseled to take the courses in order, as they build on each other.
  • Students not desiring certification may elect to take any, or all, 200-level offerings in any order.
  • Students desiring certification may elect to take any, or all, 200-level courses prior to certification in any order.
  • Seasoned LTL professionals may move directly to the CLTL exam without taking coursework.
  • The CLTL exam is offered through an online, timed 2-hour session.
  • Recertification is every three years and requires 45 CEUs as defined by SMC³.

Take one or all five courses and in any order.

  • 101 - Transportation ($795)

    For those with no industry knowledge. 100-level course, 8 hours.

  • 201 - The Fundamentals of LTL

    200-level course, 8 hours.

  • 202 - LTL Operations from Dock to Stock

    200-level course, 8 hours.

  • 203 - LTL Freight Pricing

    200-level course, 8 hours.

  • 204 - US LTL Transportation Laws & Regulations

    200-level course, 8 hours.

  • 205 - LTL Business Analytics

    200-level course, 8 hours.
    Participants need to have a working knowledge of Excel.
