This course briefly reviews the historic development of contracts of carriage and documentation and then focuses on the transition to new collaborative contracting methods based upon the research at the University of Tennessee in performance based logistics and “vested” methodologies.
105: Hazardous Materials Management

This course is designed help employers meet their responsibilities in providing adequate training for HazMat Employees per HazMat Regulations 49 CFR 172.704. This course is geared towards shippers and carriers of hazardous materials to provide general awareness, function specific, safety and general security awareness training.
All students must successfully past the course exam with a 70% or better to be provided a certificate of completion as a part of their employer-mandated HazMat certification process.
